A Sunday morning’s walk around the Bangwad Dam was quite refreshing, albeit rather hot and humid.
The water level isn’t as high as should be, considering the heavy monsoon rainfall in Phuket. Where does the water go?
I’d urge those responsible to think about a desalination plant. It may be expensive but it’ll be worthwhile in the long run.
If not, one will have to think about halting new construction in order to be able to cope with water shortage in the dry season.
Water is life.
