Walter, our daughter and I took our two friends from Bangkok up to Mount Stanserhorn via a double-decker cable car, called Cabrio, a Swiss invention, the first and only one in the world.
After lunch at a wonderful restaurant by the Lake of Lucerne, we ended the excursion at Seelisberg, another beautiful resort, which overlooks the emerald-colour lake and the mountains.
Pauline Theva-Aksorn Haldemann is a Bangkokian by birth but has been living abroad (this time) since beginning of 1971. Educated in Thailand and abroad, she’s married to a Swiss and has a daughter who lives and works in Switzerland. Pauline and her husband also own a second home in Phuket, Thailand.
