Today we invited our young Thai friend to have lunch with us at Piang Prai restaurant near the Gibbons Rehabilitation Centre, Paklok.
It was refreshing to be surrounded by the greenery and to hear the sound of twittering birds in the trees.
Suddenly we realize that we miss the little forest near our home in Switzerland.
Pauline Theva-Aksorn Haldemann is a Bangkokian by birth but has been living abroad (this time) since beginning of 1971. Educated in Thailand and abroad, she’s married to a Swiss and has a daughter who lives and works in Switzerland. Pauline and her husband also own a second home in Phuket, Thailand.
